What it requires

Defines the analogue 0-10 V control interface — current-sinking driver, source/sink polarity, and dimming-curve expectations — for LED drivers, ballasts and the controls that drive them. This is the current US reference; IEC 60929 Annex E originated the interface for fluorescent control gear and is the historical citation.
