FCC 47 CFR Part 15

What it requires

Unlicensed wireless microphones must meet Part 15 limits in the bands open to them (e.g. 902–928 MHz, 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz). Following the 600 MHz incentive auction, unlicensed wireless mics may no longer operate in 617–652 MHz or 663–698 MHz; remaining TV-band spectrum (470–608 MHz) is available under Part 15 subject to restrictions. Licensed operation under Part 74 is a separate path open only to eligible users — it is not a coordination step for Part 15 devices. Confirm the current band plan and any local coordination before specifying UHF wireless.
