Supervising station transmission — communications paths

What it requires

A path carrying alarm signals to a supervising station must be supervised. Internet protocol is accepted as a single communications technology, with no second path required, provided the single path is supervised and its failure is annunciated at the supervising station within not more than 60 minutes.
