NFPA 72 §7.4.6

What it requires

A system riser diagram shall be coordinated with the floor plans and shall show, where applicable: the general arrangement in building cross-section; the number of risers; the type and number of circuits in each riser; the type and number of devices on each circuit per floor; the number of conductors per circuit; the pathway CLASS designation per Section 12.3, including the location of any end-of-line supervisory or power devices the selected class requires; and the pathway SURVIVABILITY level per Section 12.4, indicating where survivability is provided.
